Hey there! I'm Monica Payne, and I'm a designer, problem solver, and a list enthusiast based in Pittsburgh, PA.
I’m a UX/UI designer and strategist with 8 years of experience turning complex challenges into intuitive, user-friendly solutions. For the past four years, my work has centered on Human-Centered Design, where I’ve led projects that put user needs at the core of strategy and execution. My background also spans product design, branding, and business analysis, including work within Business Process Reengineering (BPR) departments where I helped streamline operations and improve user experiences. This blend of Human-Centered Design, creative problem solving, and analytical thinking gives me a unique perspective on building solutions that balance user needs and business goals.
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Since then, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, always aiming to create designs that not only look great but also deliver measurable impact. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book or spending time with my family (including my cat, Zoey).
